Inside No-Gi BJJ
No-Gi grappling can feel unfamiliar because the distance is close and positions change quickly. Good coaching slows that experience down. Students learn where control comes from, how to move safely and how to improve position before resistance increases.
The academy has moved its live grappling classes away from Gi training and into a consistent No-Gi format. The focus remains control first: recognise the problem, protect yourself, improve position and apply escapes or submissions progressively.
What this route develops
Learn how to move, hold and improve position without relying on Gi grips.
Develop pressure, balance and calm decision-making at close range.
Build technical movement patterns that make grappling safer and clearer.
Learn submissions as part of a wider control-first approach.
Inside the curriculum
The live class format is No-Gi, supported by the academy's wider BJJ and grappling reference base so positions, attacks, escapes and etiquette are explained rather than assumed.

Ask about classesWhat to expect
No-Gi BJJ can feel unfamiliar at first because it uses close-range grappling. Coaching makes positions and safe movement clear before pressure increases.
Public pages help you choose the right first conversation or class. Once you join, the member academy guides training, progression and practice from inside the platform.
